Bungee Skate was Bungee Athletics first off-the-shelf product, however the beta version of it was originally a custom training tool developed for a hockey school affiliated with the NHL’s Montreal Canadians. They wanted something new and cutting edge to train the next generation of the club’s athletes. In early 2004 we presented to them the very first version of Bungee Skate. Very little has changed from the original design which was very robust and durable to handle the requirement of pro-level athletes. 

The secret weapon being used by one hockey school quickly spread through the hockey training community and to the individual trainers in the professional leagues in Canada and the USA. One by one the NHL’s team's came knocking and added Bungee Skate to their arsenal of tools to develop their athletes.
